St. Timothy's is blessed with a small but very fine music program. There are three choirs.

PRINCIPAL CHOIR
Our principal choir is a semi-professional ensemble consists of trained musicians who sing weekly between mid-September and Trinity Sunday (which falls between mid-May and early June) This is our only "vested choir" that wears formal choir robes, and typically sings two anthems per service. On special occasions such as Christmas and Easter, when we have many guests who may not know the music of the liturgy, this choir sings a choral setting of the service in the English Cathedral tradition. Anyone interested in this choir should contact the minister of music, Michael Berman, and arrange for a simple audition.

SUMMER CHOIR
Our all-volunteer parish choir, or "summer choir" started in 2008. This less formal group sings the remaining Sunday services between the start of September and the end of June, and sings the Easter Vigil service. There is no audition required. Simply show up an hour before a service when this "Summer Choir" sings. It's a great, low-pressure way for anyone interested in singing to join us during the summer choir times.

CHILDRENS CHOIR
Our children's choir began in 2006, and sings four times a year, rehearsing a few weeks ahead of time during a portion of the Sunday School hour.

ST. TIMOTHY'S PIPE ORGAN
St. Timothy's is blessed with a delightful pipe organ. Initially built for a Baptist church in Illinois by the Wicks pipe organ company, it was later rebuilt by John-Paul Buzard pipe organ builders of Champaign, Illinois. When the Baptist congregation moved to a new building that could not easily accommodate their pipe organ, St. Timothy's was able to purchase the organ and obtain the Buzard firm to relocate the organ to Philadelphia. It was dedicated in 2006.
