Saint Timothy’s is throwing a year-long birthday party

to honor 150 years of service to the community.

Celebrate with us at these exciting events!

A History of St. Timothy’s- Wednesdays, March 4-April 1, 6:30-8:30 pm.  Did you know St. Timothy’s founded Roxborough Memorial Hospital? Who is the war hero buried in our churchyard? What famous satellite is pictured in one of our stained glass windows? Join us for a series on the history of St. Timothy’s; learn the answers to these questions and so much more.  More than just a lecture series, this exciting program takes a “hands on” approach and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the buildings, artifacts, art and impact of this iconic parish.  Enjoy a simple supper of homemade soup and bread at 6:30 pm, followed by the discussion at 7:15 pm.

Organ Recital- April 26, 4 pm. Michael Berman, St. Timothy’s Minister of Music and Organist, performs a variety of works including Sonata No. 1 by Paul Hindemith.  Reception follows in the parish hall.

Art Show and Auction- May 2, 6:30-9 pm.  15 local artists exhibit original works featuring St. Timothy’s. The artists, working in diverse media, range from amateur to professional.  They have in common a tie to the Roxborough area and a love for this uniquely beautiful church.   Guest auctioneer is State Representative Kathy Manderino.  The event features live music by the Scott Sillipigni Band.  Meet the artists, preview their work, and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails -- including beer brewed by the parish beer club-- beginning at 6:30 pm.  The auction starts at 8 pm. All this for only $5! (Children under 12 are free)  Proceeds from the sales will go to the church’s mission work.
