Fellowship
As a parish, we are fed spiritually at the Communion rail. However, we find it equally important to gather together and share a different kind of nourishment.
As often as we assemble for worship, we join together to share with each other – through food, through fun, through education – and strengthen the bonds of friendship. It is through this sharing of our lives with the community that we grow to love one another and build lasting relationships.

This social aspect of Christian life is essential in the nurture and growth of our faith in Christ. By joining together in community outside of the sanctuary, we find people – fellow Christians – with whom we can share our hopes and triumphs, frustrations and sorrows, prayers and dreams. By emphasizing an atmosphere of fellowship, Saint Timothy’s nurtures relationships, allowing the congregation to be a community of believers instead of being numerous believers simply worshipping together.

More than Coffee Hour

Each Sunday, “Coffee Hour” is held between and after both services. Lay members of the church sign up to host this fellowship time and come early to prepare coffee and tea and often bring breakfast snacks to share. This hour gives the congregation to catch up with each other, grab a bite to eat and greet new members or visitors to the parish.

Throughout the course of the year, the Parish Life Committee organizes dinners, breakfasts and picnics. Each year, the church gathers together to host the annual “Fall Fest,” which highlights games and crafts for kids, a flower sale, live music and a flea market.
